From 2003 to 2016, Katie Baverstock-Hunt led various marketing teams in Shell. With a degree in Geology and postgraduate diploma in marketing, her first role in Shell was to lead a global communications team of 24, implementing multi-million dollar campaigns.
Following success in these roles, she moved up to lead product development, business intelligence and strategy teams, and finally, was promoted to global marketing manager for Shell Global Solutions.
This division is responsible for commercialising Shell’s innovations and technology. Each of these roles required close collaboration with technical specialists, sales and delivery staff, ensuring that customer needs were identified and delivered.
Katie now combines running her own business with a consultancy role with companies committed to achieving world-class marketing. In the first 4 months, her company’s website attracted over 200,000 hits without any advertising spend.
Sally has an extensive agency background in strategic marketing, project management and delivery. She has worked in account management and director roles in two global Brand Consultancies for ten years and has a breadth of experience across multiple sectors, most notably consumer product marketing.
